Eastern European Packaging Design PART Awards winners announced

The PART Awards Jury Committee named the winners of the first Eastern European packaging design and production competition. The Jury, composed of creative directors of agencies, winners of international competitions such as Pentawards, Red Dot, The Dieline Awards, Golden Drum, Epica, Cannes Lions, selected best packaging design in 8 categories.

PART (Packaging: Art, Research, Technology) Awards is a major attempt to comprehend the state of packaging design in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Ksenia Zheglaya, editor-in-chief at “What the pack?”: “The Eastern European packaging industry is defined by conservative clients, high production costs and slow adoption of global trends and this is why many interesting concepts are not implemented. We hope that PART Awards will help talented teams to get more freedom in realization of their ideas and set the benchmarks for the growing industry”.

PART Awards was founded on the basis of International Exhibition RosUpack, the most influential industry event in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe with a 16-year history. PART Awards includes the nominations “Manufacturer of the Year” as well as “Design of the Year” and “Students’ Concept of the Year”, supported by “What the pack?” project – the largest russian media on packaging design.
